When you use The Sanctuary’s photo and video upload page, we receive the files you choose, their filenames, and information contained in those files, which may include dates, locations, and other embedded metadata. You do not need to sign into Google or provide your name or email address to upload. Files are sent through Cloudflare’s upload service and stored in a private Google Drive folder for The Sanctuary team to receive, organize, and review. Uploading a file does not display it publicly or give other visitors access to it. Any use in church communications remains subject to the permissions required for that use. Google and Cloudflare process information needed to provide storage, file transfers, and security. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent spam and automated abuse and may process device, browser, and network information for that purpose. The upload service temporarily processes file data during transfer; Google Drive stores the submitted files. The uploader does not automatically remove location or other metadata from your files. Please upload only photos and videos you have permission to share with The Sanctuary. Take particular care with images of children and with private or sensitive information. Remove location information before uploading if you do not want to share it. To ask about an upload, request removal, or raise a privacy concern, contact wecare@thesanctuarychurch.com. Include the approximate upload date and filename, if available, so we can locate it. The upload service does not automatically delete files after a fixed period; The Sanctuary team manages retention and removal from its Drive folder. You may optionally provide your name so our team knows who sent the files. If you use an event-specific upload link, we also record the event label from that link. Your submitted name and event label are stored with the files in folder names and submission descriptions. Names are self-reported, not verified. Providing your name is not required to upload.
