FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TBR stands for “The Bible Recap”. It’s a Bible reading plan that takes you through the entire Bible chronologically in a year. Every day includes a recap video-this 7-8 minute video helps you understand what you just read and go a little deeper. It’s all in the Bible YouVersion App but you can also get printed resources if you choose to read that way.

Go to the “Start” page of the TBR website and follow their suggested step by step process. Watch the 6 prep episodes, download the bible app and subscribe to the plan. Set a daily reminder for yourself to read the word and GO For IT!

Our youth are following the Seven Arrows (book by Matt & Sarah Rogers-a 52 week devotional for teens. Published by Lifeway). This Reading Plan is 5 days of reading short passages each week for 52 weeks.

In short-because it’s a lot of reading! BUT can kids and teens do TBR if they want to? Of course!!!!!

That all depends on how you learn, and what you are used to.

While you don’t have to follow TBR, you will not always be reading the same thing as we are, so we recommend for 2026 that you join us in reading the Bible this way.

While you don’t have to listen/watch them, we recommend you try adding that in to your daily plan. It will help you go deeper.

Of course we’d love everyone to join us on this Bible Reading journey together! But we know that not everyone will do so. There’s still plenty to get out of weekly services, Community Groups, and small groups. We are gonna talk a lot of TBR this coming year! We hope that eventually, you decide to join us!

That’s fine! Join in whenever you can. Remember the key is to be reading the Bible!

NO!!!! Just pickup where we are whenever you are able! You will be right on time for exactly what God has for you when you seek Him in the Word! Remember the point of all this is to Read the Bible!
