Politics has never been a neutral topic. It has the power to divide us instead of bring us together. What would it look like if Christians filtered their politics through their faith rather than filtering their faith through their politics?

When we vote we are casting a ballot for the common good; that vote counts for what it does, not for what we want it to mean or how it makes us feel.

We are citizens in two realms: the kingdom of God and the governments of this world; being disillusioned or disappointed WITH either doesn’t give us the right to be disengaged FROM either.
