PARENTING ~ WHY IS IT SO HARD?
Lately I've had many opportunities to answer parenting questions from people in and outside of our church. I'm sure you would agree with me that parenting has to been one of the most rewarding yet challenging roles that we take on as adults! What I know for sure is that the older I get I realize more and more that I don't know as much as I think I do.
Like you I needed and still need all the help I can get. And much to my dismay, I don't always have the "correct" or "right" answers. Because of this, I welcome outside resources when they come along and provide solid help to me. When that happens I am compelled to pass it on to all of you!
There is an upcoming Parenting Seminar coming up, locally here in Santa Clarita on Sunday November 1, 2009. Below are the details about the day. Valencia Hills Community Church is hosting this event and I would like each and everyone of you to consider attending if you have a child ages 2-18.
I'm so serious about taking advantage of this event that even though they don't offer childcare, I am willing to recruit our "own" teens/young adults to watch your kids for "FREE" at the Sanctuary while you attend. You need to contact me at the office or via wecare@thesanctuarychurch.com to sign up.
